L.A. Woman

Well I'm about as baffled and saddened by this t-shirt as the model is. Does this mean you need to buy your friends in L.A.? Or that once you have bought friends, bottled water and white teeth you don't need anything else, say, food? Or that there is nothing else to buy in LA other than those 3 items?
